leaderboard challenge

Postby cornettracing80 » Thu Oct 30, 2008 10:55 am

i am not understanding what stops me from reverse engineering this puzzle at my leasure, then ordering another one and solving it in 5 minutes for the prize....
i do not intend to do this but it would seem possible...any thoughts on this?
i finished mine in under 48 hours and it says it took me 2 weeks..puzz said he would look into this and i guess he has a year to do it in...from the time i registered the puzzle and the key until i entered the rvc code should be my time....there is no doubt as to whether i did it in under 2 days since i had to sign for delivery of my puzzle on the first of the 2 days.....such an easy reference to this may not be so readily available to everyone..i hope they figure this out :!:

i see some of you ordered 2..i wish i had now...my second time would be phenominal!!

I have also thought about what would happen for those of us who order two of them and solve the second one in record time. It seems to invalidate the entire leaderboard challenge. The only solution to this would be to only allow our first puzzle to be entered. But there are ways around this too. What if I never register my first puzzle, spend three weeks to solve it and then register my second one which I solve in a few minutes?

I'm not sure how this leaderboard thing is going to end up working out.
Don't mess around with really dense objects like things made of neutronium and black holes. It will only end in disaster.
What is the shape of things to come?

The leaderboard challenge is a bonus "fun" aspect of the challenge, the primary goal for everyone is to solve the Ramisis puzzle the RVC code, and then solve the Ramisis pyramids, of which there are 2 pyramids now with more being added all the time.

As from next week you will only be able to pick one Ramisis pyramid, if you fail to achieve gold or silver for your chosen pyramid then you will not be allowed to just pick another pyramid, in other words its a race, and it is designed so that your less likely to give out help and answers to others as this would give others a chance of beating you to the finishing post. Obviously you can see how many challengers are on each pyramid so you can make an informed decision as to which pyramid gives you the best chance.

Each Ramisis pyramid has a logic or riddle problem to solve at each stage, and these are different for each pyramid.

We will sort the times out for any issues that have occurred so far with the RVC.

Good luck everyone.

More Ramisis being sent out tomorrow...

That's how it seems. I always really like that we could jump around and see all the different pyramids for the Isis. I had to stick with one TSI pyramid which I always hated, and still haven't solved. I really don't like the sound of this...

Each pyramid has 1 x virtual gold coin and 5 x virtual silver coins, same values as real pyramids. If you are the 7th person to complete your selected pyramid you will be awarded a virtual bronze coin. Silver and bronze coins provide discounts against our products.

The Ramisis online game is over for your chosen pyramid once the gold, silver or bronze virtual coins are claimed. New Pyramids are being added all of the time and obviously each Ramisis puzzle has access to one Ramisis pyramid. If you own two Ramisis puzzles then you have an option to pick two Ramisis pyramids.

So, the race is on... Enjoy the Ramisis.

Even after the gold and silver coins are claimed within each Ramisis pyramid, you can still complete the online game, and then be awarded with a bronze coin.
Everyone who completes the online game after the gold and silver cvirtual awards are gone will get a virtual bronze coin award.

All of this comes straight from puzz:
1. Registering a Ramisis does not affect the Isis adventure in any way. (e.g.You won't be blocked from the Isis pyramid map.)
2. To access the Ramisis pyramid map, one must complete the online game.
3. The online game contains 'logic' puzzles not 'puzz riddles' (That's good, because I can never solve 'puzz riddles')
4. Upon completing the online game, you are guarenteed to be awarded at least a bronze coin. (Which seems to give a discount on other products.)
5. You may selet ONE Ramisis pyramid, containing ONE gold coin, and five silver coins. (Once the gold and silver coins are claimed, it seems you may be able to select a bronze, hence ending your adventure.)

So the Race is on. :x
I'm still waiting for a product I ordered back in July seems like people are getting a head start in the race and others are being held back.
Was that the idea of the ramisi5 the longer wait? No it can't be as it seems pot luck as to which you receive.
