The Isis, Ramisis and future puzzles

Postby PUZZ » Tue Oct 14, 2008 8:54 pm

Folks,

Im being asked now if the Isis I puzzle is old hat, those of you who know how it all works will realise that not only is isis I NOT old hat but that without it the chances of claiming the big reward on Isis V is zero.

The Isis puzzle is a fantastic introduction to the Isis adventure and is a high quality puzzle in its own right.
Ramisis is a puzzle in its own right too, true its more complex that Isis I, but you dont need an Isis I to solve Ramisis, but you do need to own and have registered all of the Isis series puzzles before Isis V is released if you want to have the opportunity of potentially claiming the BIG reward when we release Isis V in 2012

Something that is worth considering though, as we move up and on towards Isis V, production of the Isis I, and Ramisis and N****** (whoops nearly gave the game away on Isis III there) will be lower and these puzzles will be harder to get hold of, this will be a problem for those who have not planned ahead and are after the Isis V reward.

I think all of the Puzzles in the Isis adventure series are fantastic, and they are there to intrigue and baffle you, I sometimes wish I was on the other side of the fence and I could join in on the adventure and tackle these intriguing puzzles myself.

Anyway, any questions on The Ramisis please feel free to ask, although you may not get all the answers :D

Good news: The Nemisis prototype has already been produced and is now being tested!
(Hmmm, even links to the late Isle of man pyramid)
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

OK, here we go:
- Can the Ramisis be reassembled after opening it, or will we end up with a pile of metal parts next to our Isis balls?
- Does the Ramisis pyramid map show real pyramids or virtual ones (or both) ?
- Will you personally be at the SPIEL 2008 in Essenfrom 23 to 26 October to sign my Ramisis?
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I was thinking Nefertiti?

so future puzzles will be limited production pieces?...meaning ,kiddies, preorders will be the only way to insure you get one in the future.

I'm guessing all the previous 4 ISIS puzzles will be avaliable until the 5th one, as those who join the search late won't have a chance otherwise? Only asking because currently I'm saving up for a Gap year to New Zealand, and then after that 2 or 3 years at Uni, so it's a lot of money  But it would be nice, possibly when there is some "spare" cash lying around, to buy the ISIS's that are out so far, ie if you've just launched ISIS IV, it would be possible to buy II and III. Even if I can't go for the final prize, it would be nice to have them.

Other egyptian god names It could also be:

NEPHTYS (sister of Isis)

NEKHBET

But I think the best guess was jazz's:

Well done Jazz, if it isn't NEMISIS, then it damn' well should be.

Do you think Puzz would worry about the implications of that name, though? And does it matter if Nemesis was not Egyptian, but Greek? But then, so was Cleopatra.

Never mind, even if it became a Nemesis it could always be reborn as GENISIS, change it's form as METAMORPHISIS, or rise from the ashes as PHOENISIS.

And after that we'll all need some ANALISIS and a whiff of ANAESTHETISIS before giving in to the final PARALISIS.

Edited for a spelling mistake.
