I wonder if this is anything to do with the warning given out at the launch. i.e. if the key chamber pops open after a very short period of time then it needs to be pushed back in immediately otherwise it will damage the electronic settings, invalidating the game. Did you find your chamber opening up very quickly Lodgecrest?

No Puzz said, "if it opens in the first 5 minutes then push it back in"
Mine took a hour or so to come.

it is a shame if there's going to be product recall... but at least it bloody explains why my red light hasn't come on! only problem is those who recieved theirs in Hamleys don't have any special postage cardboard box to protect the Ramisis box etc :?

That's the conclusion I came to. Keep ploughing forward with optimism until we know otherwise. Yours could be the only one the fault, whatever it is, doesn't manifest itself in and you'd be playing the online adventure before everyone!!

I am always wary of things spiralling out of control when paranoia kicks in. Remember, recently, people were getting all steamed up about the lack of special engraving on the Ramisi5!! Mine has " Ramisi5" on it and I'm pretty sure the others do too! So all that hooha for nothing.

If there is a recall it would indeed be bad news, but, until then, you can still attempt to release the key, safe within the knowledge that this is definitely achievable following the clues. :D

Folks,

dont panic !

Seriously all is fine, weve discovered a few minor issues with the electronics and with the key chamber releasing too early, we have now solved these issues and all Ramisis being sent out later this week will have had the updates applied.

Anyone with a Ramisis from Hamleys should keep their puzzle until SW contacts them regarding the updates that need to be applied to their Ramisis puzzle.

We will be contacting those individuals later this week.

Puzz.
