Oh well, I'll admit defeat then, before I get told 'told you so'!

It wasn't gold, it was silver, but it just looked a little bit gold :D

I thought at first glance that the latest picture looked the same (colourwise) as that 2nd prototype, but on reflection maybe not, it is definitely a more brown colour. A more sophosticated look than the blue and gold I think. 8)

Well on the latest picture from here:

http://www.isisadventure.be/index1.html

the SW emblem has been replaced by the pentagon that someone has already spotted on one of the graphics!

I wonder what that's about? :?

Ha, I knew that pentagon had something to do with it! I agree, glyphs would be nice (on the outside).

I'm surprised they are going with the black box (like the TSI/Eagle Isis I) instead of the nicer wood grain box.
Don't mess around with really dense objects like things made of neutronium and black holes. It will only end in disaster.
What is the shape of things to come?

I think I read somewhere that Puzz liked the black box, and was getting some in for UK ISIS.

My Eagle ISIS came in a woodgrain box. I agree they are nicer.

I like the black myself; of course, one reason is so it'll match my TIS ISIS I box, but I like the black look in general. Very mysterious... 8)

All my Isis 1 boxes are of the wood grain variety, it would be so cool if we could get to choose between the two, so SW if you are listening I would go for a wood grain box if possible, hint hint :D

I'm relatively confident that in real life the second prototype is just an unannodised silver metal, be it steel or aluminium.
Though I'd be quite happy to admit I'm wrong if PUZZ can tell us what colour it actually is

This is the right answer! It is unannodised Aluminium!

Woo! Go me! and Hannah! and Kheldar! and anyone else who voted silver

The poster? Which poster? I can't see any words.

However I have noticed that the pentagon is now being used on the gold and silver coin symbols on the website, so maybe it is just a symbol to indicate the 5-fold nature of the entire series of ISIS puzzles.
