Yeah me too, welcome to the club

Once you move the "inner object" from bottom to the top- is the point where the placenta should lock? or, once the "object" is at the top you need to locate the "shaft" go back down to the bottom and then the placenta locks?

As far as I know I was in the shaft when I got the Placenta to lock.

also just so I'm clear it's a anticlockwise turn that locks the placenta?
as clue # 5 deals would be to open the chamber & then the other direction to open the lock?

Clue #5 isn't specific about which way to turn and since my key chamber never opened up I don't have any real advice. I just hope you have better luck than me.

that is something else that is playing with my head. Do you complete the chamber first or the lock? As one would assume the lock will allow you to open the chamber.
but in this case the lock might be dealing with taking the puzzle apart?

Open the key chamber first, then unlocking the puzzle is next which is apparently much harder to do for reasons unknown to me.

it's hard to tell if you got the "object" to the top. Even with the aid of a common household item. :)

It's extremely hard to know where you are even with x-ray vision.

on a side note: I think I got the harder version. As I do not have any layer markings.
still trying to figure out if each "click" matters (24 for a full turn) or if there are only 4 spins to a full turn.

Mine doesn't have any marking on the layers either, aside from the name and the placenta symbol. Also has the top point rounded off for easier packaging. I'm really confused why the Isis has lots of marking on the rings which are apparently pointless and meaningless to solving the puzzle but the Ramisis is all about turning the layers and they really should have markings on them but yet they didn't put them there just to make it tougher? My Ramisis doesn't really click like it used too, every thing feels loose with lots of play in the pieces, but I'm pretty sure that a 1/24 turn could be the difference between a successful move and a useless move.
