I agree that £169 is quite a lot of money, especially for folk that are on a low income.
What else would folk do with £169?
If I take my wife and a couple of friends out to dinner and then to the cinema and then a couple of drinks for the road home, that with the price of the fuel to go on said evening out, would easily cost me £169. One evening of entertainment averaging about £30 an hour.
I am assuming that I shall get similar entertainment from my Ramisis that I have had from my Isis.
My original Isis cost about £90, 10 months later I am still enjoying the entertainment that it has indirectly bought me, which works out a hell of a lot cheaper that £20 an hour.
I am fairly sure that Puzz did not plan for things to go wrong, these things happen, I am no more pleased with the situation than anyone is.
I am also fairly sure that Puzz will do his best to make sure that the Isis3 does not suffer from the same setbacks.
No amount of complaining is going to speed things up; it is just going to spoil things for others who accept the fact that we will get a quality product in the end.
If it means waiting a little while longer, then so be it.
Nobody is being forced into being part of the adventure, if things don't please you then seek your entertainment elsewhere, it just means that there will be less competition when Isis5 is released.
Bye.

I notice the price increase has now been moved back to 16th October.

The Eagle ISIS has gone up to £82.50.

Woo! :D
If my Ramisi5 turns up before the 16th then I might be tempted to buy the "easy" version too :D

Maybe staff silently read these forums!

PS - Bluesign2k, I totally agree with what you said, however, it would seem at the moment, the ramisis has big problems....is this the quality product we were hoping for?

If i get one, i'll be waiting until all is fixed!

hey guys, long time no see. I'm one of the US adventurers. Loved the ISIS 1! Haven't been here in a while because I was bored waiting on the Isis 2. Unfortunately I came back and found out that it's already out and I'm too poor to afford it. wish I could get my hands on this amazing puzzle but I'll still be keeping up on the website now and maybe someday I'll be able to get one.

If it's any help, I can confirm that this thing is indeed "amazing"! It looks fantastic and when open it leaves you utterly bewildered as to how on earth someone could think of it, have the balls to go ahead & attempt to create it, then actually succeed in making it all work! I'm in awe! and still rather perplexed how it all works (even though it's now sitting there in 15 pieces! )

In the words of Ferris Bueller, "If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up". Very special and worth every penny!

I'm spurred on by the fact that someone has opened it, I'm just trying to imagine how it's got so many bits!

Shame you haven't got one yet - I'm tossing up at the moment whether to send mine back to be upgraded, or play with it a bit longer first in the hope of opening it first!

Congratulations Scotty!

Since I came into this adventure after the Isis I was out for about a year, there were already plenty of people who had solved it. So the one huge part of the release of Ramisis for me was going to be able to compete with everyone at the same time to open the Ramisis. But it happened again, someone opened it before I even got my Ramisis that I preordered MONTHS ago. Well, I do get to compete with the other U.S.A.ers to see who opens it first and I don't have to worry about people cheating with YouTube videos (because we will know who made it if one shows up soon, hehe).

Well, hopefully they are shipping the pre-orders  I am really looking forward to mine!

oh gee i sure hope its soon......WHATEVER...i just hope i am not getting ripped off at this point...

I'll have to wait too, all my extra money is going to get back into skydiving (shoulder dislocation at 14,000 feet), but this beauty will be mine. Anyway, the only prize for first place is on the ISIS5... it can wait...not too long I hope. :(
