IM GOING INSANE

Hi all my ramisis is driving me insane ive tryed every thing but the key chamber will not open their is a long roll from the top of the ramisis straight to the bottom which i guess is the bb but that is all i can get it to do no matter how i hold it or turn it can some one please help me.

Hi Sheepish, and welcome to the forum!

Your description sounds like you have already made progress, but still have another bit to go until the keychamber opens.
You have not "tryed every thing" yet, so you want to "hold it or turn it" some more!
Going up and down is not that bad, going around in circles would be worse, maybe going back and forth would be nice?

How you gettin on Sheepish? It is one damm hard puzzle to complete some have never gotten to the end, they might have the key out but have never been able to dismantle it properly. I think there are only about 30 who have actually gone all the way

anyone send there ramisis back? or even an isis? any positive note? i am certain mine has a malfunction. i've got metal shavings all over and no light of course, no one has. i want my puzzle fixed and i want properly working electronics. has anyone gotten a second circuit board that works? i contacted andrew a while back and he refered me to ade who also hasnt opened his puzzle. any help is appreciated. i believe i know how to open my puzzle, it just doesnt work. if i cant get this thing to work, i'll have to ebay these babys and just enjoy my revomazes.

i tell you, the black revomaze was remarkable! hope at least some of you know what i'm talking about.

I know matt_p_dales said he had the new electronics on the way and I thought I read somewhere that someone had theirs and they worked. Never heard of anyone returning a Ramisis, but it may have happened.

I'm pretty sure your puzzle is pretty messed up if you've got metal shavings falling out. Another option might be to send it to someone in the US that has opened theirs and see if they can get it opened Much cheaper than the shipping to the UK and the SW repair costs especially if it's not broken or at least can be opened. Might be some shavings that have just gotten in the way.

i believe the internal object has escaped between the layers and is stuck...hence the shavings....imho

Well im still going up and down the same shaft no change at all. I did leave it on the shelf for a while and hoped it would solve its self but it never worked any one got any ideas

Only got the key out so far, cell 1 has just drawn my mind to a blank so going to have a go at dismantling the ramisis now.

If you think Door1 is bad just wait till you see Door2. Oh no wait Door2 has the process pretty much laid out for you already . So that should be easy enough, in that case just wait until you get to Door3!! umm no that was pretty easy with the hints too . Ok just wait until you see Door4!!!

Sadly, since the trailblazers already ran through all the frustrations and the clues are almost all available that were slowly released, it shouldn't be long till everyone has caught up and we are all stuck in the same hallway waiting for the mad dash to the end.
