US members who want a Ramisis...

FYI

If anyone in the U.S. has been waiting for prices to drop to buy a Ramisis (like me) I think this is the time to buy. Thinkgeek.com has just dropped their price down to $174.

I orderd one last night and got a free Perplexus with it :)

Aah, a Perplexus! Hadn't seen one of those before, but it looks like the baby brother of the Superplexus which I gave and received last Christmas! Great Puzzle. There's a thread all about it here.

Mind you, just looked at thinkgeek.com and I couldn't get it to give me a free one, how did you do that?

The Perplexus is pretty much the same thing as the Superplexus, just without sound and a timer. It's still made by the same people.

When ordering items from them you get 'Geek points' and after each purchase you can choose to redeem them for varius items. When I orderd the Ramisis it gave me 900 points which is exactly how much I needed for the Perplexus.

Indeed, thank you! When I looked at the picture on the website I thought it looked simpler, but in fact on closer comparison I can see that it is indeed exactly the same mechanically but in different colours!
