I brought mine on a flight, and security had no problem.

are you serious? i mean i realize its less than 3 oz., but give me a break. a nail file is a no no, but a light er is okay? 3oz. of lighter fluid and a match. can you imagine the plane on fire?

that was my thoughts as well..they where ok making my teen daughter cry..but its ok for me to take matches or a lighter onto the plane?

Just went to Lapland and they asked me to take my glasses off, Refused point blank and asked them would they "take a dog of a blind man?"

it was only going to b a matter of time b4 some one posted a topic on airport security regarding the puzzles.... i worked at an airport for 4 years as an engineer and obviously had to pass security checks on a daily basis. my favourite story to tell was when i had a plastic fork taken off of my person because it had sharp points........ note this fork was so that i could eat my lunch. i then decided to inform this "security" individual that she was not looking at the bigger picture.... as i was also carrying my tool bag that had nice pointy sharp objects in. "Ahhh, yes sir. but these are for work purposes!" i was so gob smacked i laughed in her face. (i know i shouldn’t of, but in this situation it was needed) what reli grinds my gears is that u can still get steak knives from the restaurants, u can still buy razor blades and with out any trouble at all u can walk up to any aircraft u wish thanks to "health and safety"........

any way back on topic...... put the puzzles in ur hold luggage as they might try to confiscate it.

my puzzles get airsick...they hated the ride over here...they dont leave home now
