I finally opened my Ramsis(In bits now!)

But the RVC is dead, Damn..... I will have to kindly ask Puzz for a new one .

I have to say, from what i know about the puzzle (and i haven't yet opened the puzzle, but i have had the key chamber open twice) - there is a huge element of luck in opening the Ramisis. I'm sure that once you know the mechanism it all seems obvious and it's repeatable, but to get to that stage there is a large amount of luck, and a larger amount of trial and error involved. Getting through the last 2 layers is a complete bar-steward and requires a sequence of moves you could only stumble upon by chance or through a brute force 'trial and error' approach - even if you knew how the mechanism works (and i'm pretty sure i do!), without knowing the geography it's very, very, difficult.

Maybe i'll change my mind once i've opened the puzzle.

ok lets talk about it.....i have to say it is intricate but requires no luck unless you would say that to solve a very hard maze would require luck....or that to build a pyramid correctly would require luck.....or..or...winning a game of chess requires luck......your allowed to have an opinion even if it is wrong...i am worried you will be embarassed when you find out the truth.....dead ends in a maze are not what would dictate needing to get lucky to succeed...
but you can keep posting how it requires luck because for some of the people trying ..it just might!!

The reason i think it requires a large slice of luck is because to do the last couple of stages (trying not to give too much away on the forum) without knowing the mechanism/geography would require either a huge amount of trial and error, or a large slice of luck - unless you managed to work out what the inside looked like, which for most people won't be the case. So while i think it is possible to do it systematically (congrats to you as you seem to have done it that way), there will be a large element of luck involved for most people.

I'm going to (try to) get the thing open tonight (as Puzz has responded to my query re the stuck 'thing-a-me-bob') - So i may well be eating humble pie tomorrow!

no way can it be humble pie...you made a comment based on your experience..thats all ...if anything you payed homage to the creator by getting so upset
if it where easy it would be called Legos not Ramisis...... (sorry Lego enthusiasts ,i know they can be difficult)
i guess it could be said that all "blind" puzzles like this require some measure of "luck"...the word luck has many definitions and contexts...fiddling with it until it does what you want could be called waiting to get lucky ...

just brought all decryption files and there all still in code. can anyone send me in the right direction? please, please, please!

that is weird...the second time i have heard this...when you pay for the files they are still encrypted?...whats the use in paying then i am not getting it?

They're not in code, you just need to work out how to use them.
I haven't actually seen one, but somebody described one of them to me a long string of 52 numbers.

To me, it seems fairly obvious as to how they work.

It was always Decryption files, and not just the answer - even back with Isis 1.
I just assumed everybody knew that.
