Workings

Has anyone actually got any idea of how the ramisis works and is the ramisis patented because if it is it might give us an insight to how it works.

I would imagine that the Ramisis would employ some of the same principles as the Isis... but having not actually held one I couldn't say for sure.
There's at least 1 person here who has opened their Ramisis, but I think your pushing your luck if your thinking of getting any significant information out of them
I also doubt there's a patent been filed for and of SW's puzzles on the basis the paent would have to show the internal workings... which would kinda defeat the object of the puzzle :?
Are you one of the lucky ones that actually has a Ramisis?

Yes I do have a Ramisis but all I want to know is how it works because the ISIS 1 intriuged me in how it worked.
Is the Ramisis all electronic or does it have mechanical workings aswell?
I myself think that there is more to the Ramisis than just turning the layers to the right combination.

There is some electronics in the Ramisis though I believe from reading posts in other topics I believe the solution is entirely mechanical, the electronics is there to give you your RVC.
Im sure your right that the solution is more than just turning the layers to the right combination too

(ps. you may want to reconsider the bit about ISIS I... this isn't the 5% club  )

Cool :D

The ISIS 5% Club is an area of the forum where your free to discuss anything to do with the ISIS, including any and all of it's inner workings.
To have access to the 5% club you must have opened your ISIS, and you need to PM a picture of your open ISIS with your forum name on a bit of paper to Ade (anash27) :)

Yeah that helps. I'll pm anash27 as soon as I reopen my ISIS (after I had opened it I put it back together and threw away everything that came with it. I was hoping that I would remember how to solve it if I ever needed to).
