Letters to Santa

Well, this is assuming you've all been good boys and girls this year (including not cheating on your Isis puzzles!) you should be considering what to put on your list to Santa.

So, what are you asking for?

Me: not sure how good I've been but I'm taking a punt with,
Tarka (any colour/difficulty)
New shoes
New watch
And hopefully a call from someone special to me

....probably a lump of coal ;)

Edit: spelling and grammar.

A call? Ok, guys! You know what to do, let' s all flood Grae's phone just in case

I am always a good girl, I guess that trying to explode a ramisis under a train is not really cheating? So here is my letter to Papa Noël:

- a new ramisis, mine has got some curious marks upon it  (already opened, if possible)
- health and happiness for all the co-forumers here and their relatives (yes, I said that, you can even hear angels' choir behind me)

- a picture drawn by a famous drawer (pre-ordered)

And so many other things that I don't want to annoy you with my endless list... Except if a generous soul here knows the Père Noël.

A lump of coal? Over here, it's an old potatoe  (and, in some régions, whiplashes given by the Père Fouettard, or Hans Trapp, luckily not in mine! Phew! )

I'm just so glad, most of you are international and call rates aren't cheap- decreasing the number of people calling me ;)

You know you can't cover your tracks of trying to hack the Ramisis open with bribes to other forumers for forgiveness! Papa Noël knows if you've been good or not.

What's on this picture you've ore-ordered? Sounds impressive :)

Aha! One year I got a packet of Quaker Oats porridge from my grandad, a funny man  but traditionally in the UK it's a lump of coal if you've been naughty.
I just hope you don't awake Christmas morning to a sack of spuds :lol

 I am happy not to know what a sack of spuds means, that sounds very bad

A very impressive picture of yourself, right!

One year, my grandma put an old carrot in my shoes, she may have lacked potatoes

LOL why in your shoes? Trust the french to be thinking dirty ;) sack and spuds, yes.. Ok. Sack of spuds, depends on how many spuds you like?

Stick men count? Lol

You should let me know in a PM the rest of the list ;) x

Because we use to put our shoes under the Xmas tree, so as to help the Père Noël to guess whose gift is for X or Y, he puts our gifts in them, traditionally, but under them if they are large and big gifts.

In pm? Are you some kind of Xmas elf?

Anyway, don't come and spud (whatever it means) my french Xmas with your Santa and your coal. Beware, I may give your address to the Père Fouettard, you surely won't like that

I know Papa Noël, I write letters to him on behalf of the folk who can't write English ;) I can't send the list directly to him.

Does having bigger feet mean you get more presents then or just a bigger carrot?

Lol, we use to put our biggest shoes, boots are better than tongs

Because you had to use the tongs to remove the smelly shoes?

The smelly-stinky French that I am flies far above away from your sarcastic venom.

From an ugly toad.

Well if you got it from a toad, does that not confirm that the toad got the dove? ;)
