Halloween 2014

hey guys,

Been invited to a Halloween party, although I'm pleased to have an invite, I'm a big guy (6'6" and a bit of a belly) I find it hard thinking up costumes to dress up in... Mostly as I have to make them myself but I don't like to look tacky.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions, if anyone else is going to any parties this year and what you're dressing up as?

I'll be interested to see any pictures too, always a laugh

Go as an Isis puzzle. Find a round costume, paint the symbols, and then just have a really pissed-off, confused look on your face. :)

Me and my friend, drunkenly, decided on this (briefly)...... But 1. My partner wouldn't be too happy and 2. What if there's no perky young ladies and only old men and women there?

How does the tub one work? :?

Just say you are a tub and fill yourself with beer and wine.

Barely a costume, rather than a logical reason to drink everything in sight :P

I often participate to medieval reconstitutions, so I'm a bit narrow-minded when I speak of costumes ideas, but the first thing I thought was a knight templar costume.

1-Very cheap if you want only a basic costume : a white bed sheet and a red marking pen.
2- Easy to do (even with bulging and cylindrical fingers)
3- A knight Templar NEVER looks stupid (except when he's burnt alive at the stake)
4- It would be big enough for your "belly". If not, you can take a 2-persons sheet.

Just make sure the sheet isn't cone-shaped on your head. :)

Exact! Or there's a good chance that nobody offers him some beer...

Hahaha I'm sure a single sheet will be more than enough to cover my belly but a Knights Templar sounds like a good idea.
When did they stop burning them at the stake? just out of interest

Jacques de Molay died in 1314, in France I think he was the last to be burnt. But I don't know in the other countries.

I hope you are a non-smoker, otherwise it would be bad taste

The picture is excellent!

According to Goole, he seems to be the last recorded (or a common answer).
Non smoker of course

See a few other images for costumes but can't add them as a gallery to the forum, meh!
