I think PUZZ must be (currently) too busy trying to get the Tessarisis made ready for Christmas (2012 !!)

It does seem a bit quite, like Kev says, I think Puzz is a little pre-occupied with Tessarisis.
There are a few free searches that haven't yet been solved (I recently got a coin at Ampthill - dispite other people failing to find it 6 months ago) and Puzz has said that he's updating the searches area of the IAS website, with new searches to come.

There are also a slew of pyramids that have yet to be found.

Are the free search and the old pyramids brought up to date? I'm in France, so I'm quite interested in solving real pyramids in France or in Belgium, even in Germany, but they are in game since so many years that I fear everybody has forgotten them... I should have joined the adventure sooner... What do you think? Sonicwarp keeps an eye opened on each pyramidkeeper?

I'm in the US, but to my knowledge, the old pyramids are still active if they're on the map. I did have occasion once to visit the location of one but it had been moved without them telling Puzz, but that was fixed. So of course, sometimes things slip through the cracks, but I would wager that the vast majority of them are still there, especially if the keepers are also part of the adventure themselves.
Here is a list of the winners thus far, which are probably up to date, so you can know if a gold or silver coin has been removed from whichever pyramid you're looking at. Go for it!

I'm not sure where can I find out which coin was from which pyramid, and which pyramid holds still the gold.

Looks like you'll have to look at the pyramid map locations and compare to the list of names of the winners. If you don't see your location, the gold is still there!

Thanks Kheldar for the answer. I had looked at this list, but there are a few names without location, and no name seemed to sound "french" nor "belgian", but that means nothing lol. And what about the free search? If a coin is burried since 3 or more years, it may have been found by chance or moved because of the rain, or something else...? (There is a well-known treasure hunt in France which lasts since 1993, though many treasure hunters continue to search, I fear that the countermark has been found by someone who ignored what it meaned...)
And the mystery picture? Still active? I had emailed an answer but no response... ?

I've not been able to search for any of the coins where I am, but I imagine (or hope maybe) that these coins would have been hidden much like geocaches (geocaches are literally everywhere, hidden so well that seldom can they be found unless you are specifically looking for them). If you're in the vicinity you think the coin is in, go check it out and see. If you are certain that you have the correct location, and there is no coin, email Puzz and say as much. I've always found Puzz to be responsive to e-mails in a timely fashion. If he hasn't responded to you, he must be away or extremely busy at this time. Not sure on the mystery picture. Good luck and have fun!

I think the whole forum needs a revamp and some excitement out back into the puzzles and the adventures.
It's hard to believe that Isis V is out soon enough, spelling the end of Isis?
