The Isis Adventure

is it too early to start talking about a conference or meet-n-greet near the isis v release? i would love to meet my fellow IAS adventurers and hear harrowing stories of pyramid and coin finds, near-finds, and misses. not to mention meet puzz and the other top ranking treasure hunters. since it's worldwide, deciding on a nice common place to meet may be difficult but i think it's totally worth it. i just came back from the uk in april but i wouldn't miss an opportunity to go to an "end of IAS party" if held there (maybe even tour the manufacturing facility). so... what do you guys think?

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Having it in the UK would suit me just fine.

Why wait till the end of the adventure? Wouldn't it be better to do something like this before it's all over.

This would allow IAS members to meet eachother, network and potentually form teams to tackle Isis V together.

We could even include a cryptic treasure hunt element for the event - I've run a few of these in the past, so I'd be happy enough to do it again.

I was already thinking about running one in September 2013 for the Armchair Treasure Hunt Club - maybe we could combine things if there was enough interest.

Well considering it's birthplace is in Oswestry/Shrewsbury in Shropshire, both very scenic places to visit, the HQ nearby and Shrewsbury being full of pubs..... There's no better place, surely?

The trouble with a get together with us lot might take sometime as we could send out a clue for the location and never find it. Think it would be nice to meet some of you as forums are a bit too remote sometimes.

It would be well for all active members to post their location (just town names and country) and sure we could work out the common "midway" point

I will visit the dutch cube days, who else?
