These are taken in Gistel,West-Flanders, Belgium about 8 miles from the coast.

They were shot last summer at the top of the church tower.

Ooh that is so nice.Pretty damned impessive.
I didn't realize there was so much water around it.

Isn't Chicagi also called the windy city?
Something about Doris.

The pics i uploaded earlier were in a too small format so i tried resizing them.

I'll try to make a couple of nice (better, bigger) ones to post here.
I would really love it if some more people would do it though.
It's a chance of seeing the world without having to travel or searching the internet for pictures of places.

My hat goes off to you guys; living in the rat race is something I just can't tolerate.
So here is a photo of Taezalium, I have circled my house.

I don't know about "batcave", but the tree at the right hand edge of my red ring is home to bats,
When Mrs Steve and I walk our dogs at night, the bats dive and swoop within millimetres of our heads, I think they are just checking us out.
And Steve, the beer (tea) is for the girls, Steves drink whisky, in this corner of the world there are more distilleries than schools.

The city pictures that are taken at night are very pretty, I would post a night time picture but it would just be a black rectangle.
We have no street lights here, which means we get stunning views of the stars and the northern lights.
So the picture below is a different view of Taezalium, this one was taken yesterday afternoon.

wow, I would really like to live out in the open like that, especially for the night sky views, it must be fantastic in August during the Perseid meteor shower, we got to see a few meteors from our back garden but not many ... here's my estate

Here's our little village. The church sits up on the hill and we can see it off our side porch.
