People don't do a whole lot of halloween celebrating in Aussie. Too bad. It's possibly my favourite holiday. Has anyone seen the new saw movie?

I've seen Saw 5...

Seems that each Saw movie is directly reverse propotional between star ratings and sequel number.

Saw I = 5 stars
Saw II - 4 stars
Saw III - 3 stars
Saw IV - 2 stars
Saw V - 1 star

Doesn't leave much hope for Saw VI on a 5 star scale, eh?

As far as I'm aware, All Hallows Eve is very much a Pagan thing.
Most religions aren't great fans of Pagans - despite the fact that most of their ideas were pinched from them

I don't know why or how I know the above, so it might just be rubbish that somebody else told me - sorry if it's wrong :P

It's the connotations of evil spirits and the like that they don't like, given that Halloween means All Hallows Eve, or the Eve of All Saint's Day, when the church celebrates all those who have lived good Christian lives.

Personally, I don't remember it at all from being a youngster - I think because it just wasn't around so much in those days - and I really can't see the point of it all now, so I just ignore it, and my kids are happy with that.

I've no inclination to celebrate things evil depite my username, but what ho, that's just an anagram! :D
