Debug mode?

I'm currently getting this message every time I post here. It doesn't seem to affect my post reaching the forum, but it still suggests something is wrong. Is anyone else getting this?

I also received this message. I thought that this web site was down for a while just after 7pm as I couldn't get on here, yet all other web sites seemed fine.

I started getting this problem at the beginning of the year. Intermittently when accessing the main forum page. It seems to go away after a few minutes as though some sort of timeout is taking place. I can access the main isis adventure screen when the problem is active, it only effects the forum entry. Strangeley enough it hasn't done it for a week or so now so perhaps its latched on to someone else. I don't usually log into the forum unless I intend to post or look at messages so it only happens to me as a guest.

EDIT: just realised after posting that my problem was slightly different as it effectively disables all forum activity for a few minutes. Just got the message discussed here when I posted just now but it doesn't appear to effect the post.

EDIT2: I just found the error text associated with my original problem (I had saved it in a text file) Instead of the forum index page, I was regularly getting this:

Refreshing the screen just changes the HEX dump until after a few minutes when the normal screen is restored.

Yes, I also had the same problem that hannah describes this afternoon - ended up with two posts the same!!

I've had the phpBB error for a couple of months now too - just now and then.

This one has been every time I've submitted a post, today or yesterday.

And, like Evilkeen, not when I edit.

I suffered this problem when I was posting regularly in February and March of this year. It appeared, I would say, about one third of the time and only when first contacting the forum index. I could get round it sometimes by googling the forum and summoning a topic rather than the main index. I did not say anything at the time because I thought that it was my computer or phone line that was wrong, not a general problem.

I am pleased to say now that it has not occurred since the beginning of April.
