Finally opened and the code says its invalid

Postby Nomad52 » Sat Dec 15, 2007 11:21 pm

This sucks! After getting the isis as a gift on december 4th, i couldn't wait to open it. Finally a week and a half later i opened it. Great moment, hands sweating, heart pumping! Put my code in and...... ERROR Invalid code.. WHAT? This sucks . i just talked to TSI customer service and they seemed suprised.. I can't believe it. what a let down. Also on my tsi web page under My Adventure, it says my date started was 6/12/2007. i just registered and got it 12/4/07. Whats up? anyone heard of this happening before. I sent my pic to be in the 5% club and asked about it there but no answer yet. AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

If I recall correctly, some other people have had issues with this. It (the outside code) may have been a duplicate code that someone else has already used and their inside code was different. When you registered your Isis on 12/4/07, did it say "Already Registered" or did it register successfully? The computer might have also screwed up and not correctly coordinated the correct code with the one engraved.

Hi Nomad52,

Congratulations on opening your ISIS :)

I'm not sure but, did you register first on the Global website or the TSI website? Being American you should register on the TSI website first, so if you tried the global site then the TSI site, you will have problems. If that is the case, you will need to pm Anash27 and he can sort it for you.

That could also explain the date problem .. in the UK we write the date Day/Month/Year, so when you wrote that the website said you registered on the 6/12/2007 - that could be the 6th Dec 2007?

If that's not the case, pm Anash27 anyway, and I'm sure he'll be able to sort it for you :)

Sorry about the delay in letting you into the 5% club, please be patient, it can take a few days.

Karen :)

I got the same message when I opened my second ISIS and tried to enter the code. The problem was that it didn't match that on the SW Database.

I e-mailed PUZZ who sorted it out for me.

Regards,

Richard...

I'm actually in the same boat. I've PM'd anash27 and am just waiting for a response. Is this a common problem with the TSI version?

This is not a common problem, I think weve had about 10 isis units worldwide that have has code issues which is about 0.04% i think.

We will always sort out code issues very quickly if you email us, as we want to keep you adventure running as smoothly as possible.
