So am I right in saying that there are three members of the 500 club so far,

And the purpose of the club is not only to save money and get the puzzles earlier than general release but to help test the puzzles.
At the moment the puzzles seem to be testing the majority of the members, come on guys we need to see these Ramisis dismantled.
But soon I believe we shall have a fourth member,

It is pretty easy to find all members of a club (e.g. the 5% Ramisis club), if you know just one member -- just select the club at the members profile page and "Go".

Problem is, I haven't found a 500 Club member yet ...

I think it's pretty unlikely that I'd win the "big one"... but there's always a slim chance!

Hmm, I really don't like the idea of giving up the possibility of awards/prizes either.

edit: After re-reading the rules, it seems like you would only give up awards/prizes if you choose to be involved with the testing of the reward zones, not just because you are part of the 500 club.

3. Award zones and online game play will not be available until general release, but there will be an opportunity for testing these new games or award zones to selected members in the 500 club. Awards will not be available to those within the 500 club should they wish to be involved in the testing.

I also notice that the page in the shop says the price is £500 inc VAT.... does that means it goes to £489.36 on monday when VAT drops?

Right there looks like we have the option to open a puzzle but if we do, we don't have to participate in the award zone if we don't want to it seems to me, meaning if we opened the puzzle and didn't go into the award zone during testing phase that when the puzzle is released to general public, we can enter into the award zone and have it be legit? Though I could be off on my thoughts on this subject, either way I like the fact to be able to test or get the puzzles way before general public so with that being said bring on the puzzles!
