Hamleys ?

i cant believe that members of the general public that arent even current adventurers will have their isis2 in hand before the 5% club preorders..just by going to hamleys...im in shock....is this a correct assumption?

When I started the thread called Prebooking Isis II in the 5% club, I sort of meant so that the 5%ers could get the Isis 2 before general release,
not just so that we could pay for it before everybody else, maybe I should have made that clearer.
Note to self "remember next time to be clearer when starting the Prebooking Isis III in the Isis II 5% club".
But, ho ho, such is life.

Just had confirmation from Sonicwarp that I will not be able to pick up my pre-order at the weekend, it will be sent out to me.

They will be sent out on the 19th, the day after the launch (apparently). Which is a Friday. Which means we will PROBABLY get them on Monday as I don't expect Sonicwarp to pay for Saturday delivery.

So pre-ordering means that you actually get your Isis II later than general release. Thats not good.
So you pay earlier but receive later. hmmmmmmmm.........

Something tells me they should post the pre-orders out a week before the Hamleys release, be nice if current adventurers got theirs a couple of days before general release - as a 'thank you' for pre-ordering.

Whats exactly IS the point of pre-ordering then?

I think we would have all been better putting our money in the treasure chest for a month instead of pre-ordering.
I for one wont fall for the pre-order again.

Yeh, I thought they might have posted out the ones where people specifically said they wanted it posted. From the sounds of it they're taking them all down to hamleys just incase the indecisive people change their minds and decide to got the launch.
I know 100% that I'm not gona be there though, so it might be cool if we could just give our names to puzz to tell him we're definately not gona be there so they can just be posted to be recieved on launch day.
I can't see that happening though, but on the plus side, at least we all have a date to look forward to now (ish)

Why? I can't see anything that refers to the opening of ISIS I?
And I'm not sure Ramisi5 chat matters so much now, they're all gona be released the same day anyway.

i guess your right...i reread puzz's posts and all he said was that the 5% club would be assured of a preorder shortly before launch and he did that...i just assumed he loved us more than that..being a money based game i am not sure if he can send them to us early in all fairness and legality....still sux

I think we could do with an update on who is planning to be at Hamley's for the launch now that we know the date.

I notice that they haven't actually said what time it is going to be launched, that could have a bearing on plans! Better try and find out. Iyaree, do you know?

I'm not holding my breath for the 18th. August lauch has become september the 18th or posted the 19th if your not collecting. Why can they not post the 17th so we can all get it on the 18th if it gets released then?

They probably promised Hamley's that they would get it first!! Bummer really I just want the darn puzzle I was promised!!!
