No offense Steve, but I don't think you are the voice of the people, simply because you are too passionate (which I do love), however your passion can work against those that don't agree with you...

hence why I was a no vote for a committee, I want to be able to express myself, even if my opinion isn't representative of the group.

hey i agree....i could give a crap about a powerless committee...i only say i am the voice ,because i say what some people are too timid to say themselves..when you read a bitch rant post its a direct product of a certain number of PM's i have received on any given subject.
there will never come a day when any SW customers wont be able to voice their opinions freely..i assumed this was a consensus meeting to gather up opinions and to just have one person report them to puzz instead of 200 emails...
if you buy a revomaze..you wont be worried about whats going on here and the next puzzle will just show up one day(hopefully)
(for those who do not frequent the revomaze forum board ,we are constantly talking about SW,isis ,and Ramisis puzzles..hell the first revomaze pictures where taken with an isis puzzle for size reference...they are cousins wether they like it or not

love you too dooners

I find it amazing how much complaining goes on here, and legitamitely too. I've never hear any camplaints on the Revomaze forum. Even Cornett is all smiles!

don't mean to brag, but it's hard to complain when you solve one puzzle, just to wake up with the next one on your door step. (where's the fun in that  ) no really I was really worried about not getting thru the second one before the third one came. (no need to lose sleep i solved it but it was a bear) any way I just want to see what the ISIS III looks like/named.

The committee.

I have to confess I dont have enough time anymore to view all of the posts that are aimed at me, and it would be helpful to have a body that can help.

However I do not want to end up with is a situation where I have several additional issues per day to solve on top of the workload I already have asd there just isnt enough time in the day, however if the committee can filter the questions and prioritise the issues then I think it may help.

So, I am willing to trial such a concept for a month or so and we will review after that.

So the question then becomes, who is the committee? I recall nominations for some names on some thread somewhere... Anyone remember where that went?

I would like to request that a members committee ( of 11) is created and that a chairperson be elected, who would have direct contact with the management board. These positions would be voluntary.
As with all committees, they should be democratically elected.

Administrators - Can we please have a vote on this

If the answer is yes:-

I would like to nominate Cornettracing80 to be on the committe/Group
I would like to nominate Lodgecrest to be on the committee/Group
I would like to nominate Bluesign2k to be on the committee/Group
I would like to nominate Dooners to be on the committee/Group
I would like to nominate Walter to be on the committee/Group
I would like to nominate Steve to be on the committee/Group
I would like to nominate Scottybot to be on the committee/Group
I would like to nominate Louisis to be on the committee/Group
I would like to nominate ChadH to be on the committee/Group
I would like to nominate Jazz to be on the committee/Group

 That would be this thread

As for being nominated to be on said committee... thankyou :)
I know I've been sceptical about this previoulsy because I wasn't sure if was a thing that puzz would be willing to "go along with", but if this is now actually going to happen, and if nominations are still being taken, then in addition to the current names I'd also like to nominate (in no particular order): walther, steve, ScottyBot, LouIsis, ChadH (if he's still around), and jazz (if that's okay with you guys).

If suggestions are being taken for a "leader" then I'd like to put jazz forward mainly beacuse he's recently been doing a fine job of organising the 500 club :D

Well it looks like Puzz likes the idea

This is one idea to get this started.

On the forum a new sub-section should be opened in the Isis Adventure section - I nominate the name as "Adventures Group"
if somebody can think of a more catchy name please post here.
If and when a section is given we then can start polling for group members and group leader.
if anybody as the "ear of Puzz" please make sure that he reads this thread - Thankyou
