New Look

Oh look&feel, it now has the same look&feel as the International Isis forum at http://www.tron.be/forum.
I must admit I prefered the previous version with names&avatars on the left, which was more compact.

Does anyone else use the "keep me logged in" function??
I always did on the previous board and it worked fine, but now I'm having to login everytime even when I ticked the option not to!
I like the new look and all the new features but having to log in everytime is doing my nut!

The auto login isn't working for me either, on both my PC and Blackberry. Also, if I use the default Blackberry web browser (instead of the usually superior Opera Mini) I can see the new posts icons, but they get jumbled behind the text and with that browswer the box to post a replay is too large for the screen so after you fill in the first row, it starts running off the side and you can't see what you are typing.

I really hope that this stuff can be tweeked so that this site will once again be portable device friendly.

I just spent ages trying to log in, the forum didn't remember my password, neither did I. I had to get a new one and then that didn't work.
It is going to take a while to get used to the new format, I am not sure if I like it or not, time will tell.

Me three! Looking in to it. (maybe just a case of clearing the old forum cookie out....I'll check [EDIT: Nope! that didn't work])

I like the avatars on the right (not that it was my choice and I don't seem to have the option to change it). When I view the new forum on my phone I don't get half the page on the left taken up with "useless" info. Anyways each post does have the user's name above it on the left so it still easy to see who said what.

Try adding *.isisadventure.co.uk to your trusted cookies list - I haven't tested it yet, but it's probably the reason.

Nope, cookie thing doesn't work.

I've had a look into it, and Admin need to set:

General tab on ACP -> Security Settings -> Allow Persistant Logins

to Allowed.

Seems a bit silly that PHPBB3 leaves the checkbox on the login screen if that setting is set to disallowed

In phpBB 3.0 under Server Configuration > Security settings > " Session IP validation "

Set this to "none"
