Thanks for the replies on telescopes. I'll maybe leave it for a while then. He actually wants a Nintendo DS .

The signal bouncing is fascinating stuff. I'd heard of the ability to send radio signals much further than normal by bouncing it off something, but never really paid attention to how it was done.

Frequency is an absolutely fantastic film - it was on the telly about a month ago. I think it's about the third time I've seen it.
