You are walking through a field of wheat,
when you spot something good to eat.
not bread, meat, nor bone,
you took it home till it could walk alone.

what is it?

It could have been the farmer’s soft cheese sandwich which fell out of his tractor when he was seeding the field.

Another one for the collection:

Make three-quarters of a cross
And a circle complete;
Let two semi-circles
On a perpendicular meet;
Next add a triangle
That stands on two feet;
Next two semi-circles,
And a circle complete.
What am I?
