Daylight Saving Time

When the forum was upgraded recently, a box appeared in the preferences to tick for 'Daylight Saving Time' as well as the usual time zone setting.

I thought therefore that it would change automatically when we changed from BST (GMT +1) back to GMT, but alas it appears not, I just had to change it myself!

Yup, you do need to do it manually! There's no easy way of a web page determining whether you are using DST, so the easiest way around it was to have the check box for you to tell phpbb. The earlier version didn't have the checkbox, and the only way around DST was to change to a different timezone.

Don't forget to add in that the US is one week slower for DLST. I get to start sleeping in next week. [I hope someone tells my 2 month old son that ] and then there is the wierdos like Cornett who just switch times zones so they don't have to deal with it.
