Downloadable Clues

Postby themagicdude » Sun Sep 14, 2008 1:29 am

It would really help to pass time until the release of Ramisis to be able to download the clues for it. Also, I don't see any reason not to put the game up for play if it's finished. Sonicwarp could just email passwords to all of the people that have purchased a Ramisis. Any thoughts? Moderators especially...

Agreed. I was thinking the very thing today, that way when we get it we're even more pumped to see and touch it (and hopefully open it!). I'm all for it!

The pyramids are keeping me busy. I would like the clues early but I think they will get released online at the release date. Giving the people who can't make Hamleys the same start time as eveyone else.

It would be great to have the clues early, I'm assuming they will need to be decyphered again, so it would be fun to work them out now before recieving the puzzle.

I also think that recieving the puzzle and cryptic clues simulaneously could make the puzzle harder to open, it would be almost impossible not to play with the puzzle straight out of the box, but through playing with it, you may unknowingly move it from the initial reset state, so when you later follow the clues in order, the puzzle may not open as you are not starting from the correct configuration. I'm going to find it soooooo hard not to touch the puzzle before decyphering the clues :!:

I had the clues to ISIS 1 before I got my hands on it. (was working away) After solving them I had plenty of time to ponder over them and once I got my hands on the puzzle I opened it in 30 mins. I wish I hadn't done it that way. It made me feel cheated that £100 puzzle only gave me 30 mins of entertainment.
