Your creative side

Alright, obviously since we are part of this forum we all enjoy the ISIS puzzles and the challenges of the riddles. Sure some of us are good at the puzzles and others (like me) can't find something staring us in the face, but we all have to agree that we enjoy the mental stimulation the puzzles provide. I figured I'd start this thread where people can share what they use their brainpower for other than solving these riddles. This can be anything, so start sharing. (I figured this would also help us pass the time due to a lack of new free searches and lack of an ISIS II)

I personally, when I'm not working, enjoy building things. I'm always working on some new project in my house and many of them have no purpose whatsoever. (Like my air powered marble launcher than can launch a marble clear across a football field). Many of them have failed over the years, but my last successful project was one I made with some friends in college last year for fun as our final project in a Design Class. It got us the highest grade in the class for it, but really we just made it for our own entertainment and not for the grade. There is a video of it here

i like to take things apart, find out how they work, clean if necessary, and see if i can put it back together. i find that i am very good at spatial reasoning which is why i love the isis cause i have to be able to visualize something that i cant see. how does that thing work? its freaking awesome!

[EDIT] i just found your explanation video.

Honestly I don't even have enough time for this adventure. It may seem silly. But I spend my free time telling stories to by unborn son :D
I am attending college and working full time/sometime over full time.

the thing that drives me nuts is that riddles suck donkey stuff!!!!! I really wish that we (including PUZZ) didn't have Google/wikipedia and that we could play on a even ground. although I am sure I would feel like someone who brought a butter knife to the fight!!!! I also ride a unicycle (yes, I said it) that's my story and I am sticking to it.

EDIT [BTW Nice Cooler!!!]

Like wise I also enjoy the mental stimulation of the puzzles, and it's all kindof compulsive!

As for my creative side, well I am an artist and teach art workshops (as well as a full time job). My website is below if you want to have a look.

Hi JTobcat,

Your Beer launcher is great :) Roger, my other half would like one of those :)

Between part time work, kids (second one due in 3-4 weeks :D ) and the ISIS, I don't get much time for other hobbies. But I am a huge gadget fan, and I also enjoy trying to fix things, some successfully like replacing the top screen of my Boss' kids Nintendo DS, but others were complete disasters, like trying to repair DHS (Droopy head syndrome) on Max, my Aibo ERS 210... he ended up having to go to AiboHospital for proper surgery. He's back to his old self now - pictured :)

I also love Japanese puzzle boxes and have started to build up a collection. One of them, the box with a tree, I've had since Christmas and I'm still unable to open it!

lol.. the box with a tree has been driving me crazy! I also bought it from Puzzle box world :) I can move the sides down, which is pretty easy.. but I just can't get any further!! I've tried pushing, pulling and tapping each side reasonably hard, but nothing :? It came with an envelope inside the box, I'm guessing it contains the opening instructions, but I don't want to spoil it, so thanks for not telling me :)
