Finish of Box

I was just curious as to what type of finish your TSI Isis box has? Mine has a dull matte finish, but i swear i saw someones picture where their's is super glossy. What is your's like?

I'm in the US and I have a glossy black box.. I've seen two different boxes in the sharper image.. one is glossy black and the other is matte black..

bought mine from TSI in Nov 07 and it was the high gloss kind.

mine is super glossy but unfortunately was damaged in transit and one of the hinges is broken - actually off altogether. My boyfriend (who bought it for me) offered to send it back for a replacement but he found it so difficult to pry my Isis out of my hands that he gave up on the idea.

Yeah mine's the Glossy 'wooden-look' one, not seen the black boxes! Also, I had to be told by my sister that the indent at the top is to stand your Isis on display - I can't believe I was dumb enough to miss that!

lol, that made me laugh. I have an isis and an isis1a...both have glossy wood boxes, and I hope to god they keep the boxes the same for isis 2 and onwards so that my collection looks the same. Enjoy your adventure guys...

my Isis1 from the uk has a glossy wooden box(love it!!) my sharper image Isis has a dull black box(hate it!!!).
the gyre came in a black felt bag and i am waiting on my nkryptor.
i ,as well ,hope for a wooden, glossy box and matching puzzles.i hope issi2 can be ordered to match my isis1.
the only thing in my puzzle collection that even comes close to the isis is my japanese puzzle boxes. i like my "treasure chest" mechanical puzzle made of brass but the isis is in a world of its own
