Why different clues?

New to Isis and forum: Why are the ten clues different on this site vs. my "instruction" manual? Some are similar, but not the same. Does it have to do with U.K. /USA or what? Also...are these people claiming to have solved it in under an hour cheating somehow?

For a person to beat the ISIS with no help in under an hour should apply for MENSA.
Under an hour without help; that person is a really fast thinker, should be a cryptologist, and had alot of luck on their side.
But, anything is possible.
