Uk and USA time difference?

Hi everyone, Im in the US and was just wondering what's the time difference between US and UK.. Its hard trying to communicate with SW because everytime I call they aren't there.. also alot more people are on here when it's really late here in Washington.

I think he's in washington state, not washington DC. But yeah, it's 8 hours different, so midnight here on the west coast it's 8am over there.
