You should have time. The Pentarasus won't be ready until the end of the year, and there are still plenty left to reserve when you finally get the other puzzles.

What kind of problems? Solving the puzzle, or there's a problem with the physical puzzle itself?

It was missing the 3rd ball so I had to cheat to open it. Kinda sucked since it wasn’t cheap even tho it’s used. Right after I bought it I found a cheaper one with all the parts. So mad lol oh well

The only extreme puzzle I own it a Deep Blue Orb (no relation to Orko’s ) so I’m looking to hear some feed-back from owners of other extreme puzzles. On a side note maybe PUZZ will make a Devil version so should I hold out for that one instead?

I have the extreme Ramisis and Copernisis. Not much of a difference between the regulars as far as I can tell.

As for dropping the $$ on an extreme, I would wait to see if the basic versions will ever be available. It was supposed to be early in 2018, then early-mid 2018, and now it's later in 2018. We haven't heard much (chirp chirp...) regarding the puzzle (maybe one update which was vague...)

Yeah, we are a little lacking in updates... Haven't heard anything from Andrew recently. As for the Extremes, I think it depends on how much frustration you want. Some of the versions just have small updates/changes to obfuscate the basic mechanism, and some add more streamlined puzzling aspects.

There is a devil version but it is not posted on the site. You have to email Andrew to reserve one.

Currently on the sonic games web site it states that "The Pentarasus will be available November 2018..."; however if for any reason it dose get delayed again we'll just have to wait and in the mean time I have to remove my TCR. And thank you both for your information; but after my fiancee watched E3 I think I'll have to get the standard puzzle.

I haven't heard anything directly from Andrew recently, but the site recently changed and says 2019, but that he is short funds to produce it

Hopefully that changes soon. It also says that he is looking to produce puzzles through 2025. Anyone know if more are planned past the Pentarasus?

Pardon my language, but the f*cking requirements for the Penta have changed again. This time, as per the website, Puzz needs to raise another 50K Quid:

Update 2019 - The Year of The Pentarasus

Due to an increase in engineering costs an additional 50K has to be raised before they will begin production. 25k has been spent on development of the Pentarasus to date. There will be a delay on Pentarasus until the additional funding has been raised, a few options are available and further updates will follow soon.


What the f*ck!!!! We were promised the puzzle in mid 2018, then late 2018, then 2019, and now it's on hold until he raises another 50K. Which I don't see happening because the 'adventure' is pretty much dead, as are these forums. But I know a few are here that check in occasionally, so what are your thoughts?

Maybe 2025 is when we an expect the Penta...

It's definitely frustrating. I came in with lower expectations on the timing based on my experience with the Ramisis, Copernisis, and Tessarisis. They were delayed as well, and updates were not given frequently regarding their status. Certainly not the best for of customer service. I'm guessing Andrew didn't get as many orders as he thought he would.
