What would really be awesome if instead of producing new puzzles, the 5th puzzle that people prepaid for would get made.

With that being said, that Devil Tess/Tark is beautiful!!! Now, if I only had $1300 USD lying around...

Since my kuku remains silent I welcome this myself.
It's not a whole new puzzle persay so hopefully it helps push things forward, whatever things may or may not be...
Agree the look is one fantastic. I like it aesthetically a lot more than the gold...

Aesthetics aren’t worth the added cost (at least per my wife and bank account) , especially I still don’t know how I opened the basic one (blue, no Tarka inside) other than turning wheels and turning it like a tilt-o-whirl. :)

:(

Right on about aesthetics not being worth the extra cost alone.

However I don't have any of the tess.

Hoping the mechanic changes are worthwhile. Plus I have a thing for #01 puzzles. All in all it added up to a yes from me.

No way to know until it comes

Says they were changed for the new devil series from the old devil series

It all depend on want you want from these puzzles.

- Collectible signed/numbered (1-10)
- Include a numbered Tarka (1-10), matching the Tess number
- Very nice looking. For me, it's a BIG plus!
- Mechanic being harder then the original

I'm pretty sure Andrew put them (and the other Tess (Original + Extreme) to give another chance to collect all 4 puzzles to be illegible for the 5th one. And...for money! It's a business!

Then by all means, go for the devil. :D That T4rka in red is frigging BEAUTIFUL! If I hadn’t just splurged on 3 other puzzles, one of those 1-10 would be mine.

If you already have the normal, since it’s almost impossible to find them, fleabay may be a good choice to make up a little of the cost for the Devil.

Spot on. It is very subjective...
I did not hesitate though not having a tessarisis and finding none really 2nd hand.

Glad I waited though forced or not. This thing looks wicked sharp

I'm interested to know what the harder mechanism is

The first devil was pretty hard, even when having a correct guess as to what made it different from the original.

I know of two ways to find out!
And one only works if someone spills the beans :?

For me I don't find this listing very clear at all.

Firstly they can't spell the name of their own product it is spelt differently 3 times in a row :)

"Tessarisis| The Devil Tessarasus
By Sonic Games UK Ltd
The Devil Tessarasis"

Also as far as I can tell it doesn't say that it is a different mechanism to the original devil Tessarisis it just says different to the original tessarisis. Which is either again badly worded or misleading if it is indeed exactly the same as the last devil set people who are not aware may think this is a 1-10 issue when that would effectively make it 1-20?

"Due to demand but with an updated internal mechanism, and called the Devil Tessarasis, so its a different version to the original Tessarisis in order to keep both collections unique and to 10 puzzles in both collections. "

Only one other collection of tessarisis was limited to 10 as far as I am aware (the Devil series). Mis-worded or not, still fairly clear to me.

I'm here for the puzzles not the grammar myself, though.

The extremes were also limited. Not sure how many tessarisis there were, but the extreme tarkas found within were x/5 (yes, 5, not 15 or 25). Seems like a marketing thing, since I would find it hard to believe there were less than the devil series, but that's what it is stamped.

Well that's a head scratcher
But as it's not a set of ten it does not apply to me or my logic in this description

It is interesting none the less though... ha!
