Can anyone tell me are you supposed to have more than one wheel locked down at the same time for the solution? I can only seem to get one in a locked position at any given time.

If I were you I would decode the clues if you have not already done so. I know you have probably heard this before but it is true the clues help a LOT. Just don't focus too much on one wheel or side based off of something you have assumed always check things with the clues. I ran into this problem and it backtracked me several hours. Also two wheels can be locked at once. I probably shouldn't say much more. Good luck :D !

Thanks!!! Actually used the clues and solved both the Tessarisis and the Tarka yesterday. The clues really do help a lot.

When my Tessarisis is where I consider to be reset, the lid has minimal movement. Basically, I consider this the top.
When I am where I believe it should be solved, the lid moves a lot.

I don't want to use more force, because I think it should open, as easily as it moves at this point. I don't want to break anything.
