Solved! And, without getting into too much detail here, I'll just say the Tarka inside my Tess was the source of a very long diversion. I spent a long time manipulating what turned out to be the Tarka, while it was inside my locked Tess. I had manipulated it so much, that my Tarka was solved when I opened my Tess! The key came right out; obviously my (successful) manipulation was the key (pun intended) to solving the front part of the Tarka.

Congrats, the Tessarisis is a great puzzle. I still haven't got to code rod out of my Tarka though.

Same here! Steve and the sonic games team made a great little addition (and addiction ). Btw is the "Devil" puzzle series worth it? ( I did not want to phrase the "Devil" series in that fashion, but I am not certain how express what I mean.)

To start, I have the Marbles version, which does not have the Tarka inside. Now...

I do not hear anything moving inside my Tess. No beads, no rods, no key! Is this normal? I know that this puzzle has a gravity element involved, but I would think if that were the case, you could hear something moving.

Is my Tess not operating correctly, or is it supposed to be quiet as a mouse?

Somehow I opened the damn thing. Kind of got the idea, but mostly just trial and error. Was hoping to really understand how it works so it wouldn't just be a $$ guessing game.
