Trying to figure out what now.
Guess I'll need to buy the Ramisis next. Or should I get a Ramisi5? Thoughts?

Hi Fry-kun :)

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on opening your ISIS :) How long did it take you to open it?

Please send your open ISIS picture to anash27 so Ade can grant you access to the ISIS 5% club, you will find detailed reset instructions within the 5% club which will help you reset your ISIS safely :)

I'm not sure if the Ramisi5 is still available? Please email info@sonicwarp.com, and they will be able to tell you if you can still order the Ramisi5. The only difference between the Ramisis and Ramisi5 that I'm aware of, is the presence of a small engraving on both middle layers of the Ramisis, which help you navigate it more easily. The Ramisi5 does not have these engravings. All new Ramisis are now functioning perfectly, so I'm sure you'll enjoy the puzzle :)

Good luck with the pyramids :)

Karen

I got it on the 19th (from cornettracing80) and opened it last night, so a week.

Sent the PM, thanks for telling me :)

The reason I was thinking of getting Ramisi5 was because I read it was more challenging. But if it's not sold anymore.. oh well I guess.

Well done for getting it open so quick! :D
The Ramisi5 wasn't actually any harder as such... the inside was the same, it was just missing a few clues on the outside... not that I think the clues helped that much anyway tbh. But yeh, as Karen said, I don't think the Ramisi5 are actually sold anymore anyway.

Thanks :3
I wasn't really expecting I'd get it so soon, either.
The decryption was a bit too easy. A more fun encryption/decryption challenge (while still keeping it fairly simple) is to make the user encrypt something with the same key/system. A good example is here.

I'm now waiting until anash27 lets me into 5% forum so I can look up the mod - my isis doesn't want to stay in unlocked position so it's hard to close it properly

Edit: and now, looking closer, I see that there IS a mod in place against just this problem. The ball just turned so it was slipping out.
Time to reassemble it :D
