Back after a while of inactivity...very confused

Postby kavin2468 » Tue Jan 13, 2009 5:48 am

Hey guys. So after hitting a dead end on my Isis riddle I called it quits for a little while. Now I have come back on to find that the TSI part of the quest has been ... discontinued? Not only that, but now we must pay a subscription fee to "continue the adventure"? Can someone please explain to me what is going on with the TSI side of this? I have looked around the forums but have not found what I was looking for. Thanks!

Whoa, you have been gone for a while! The Sharper Image went bankrupt and out of business. Since they no longer can be a supplier or a part of the Isis Adventure, SW has had to take on everything. The subscription fee is very minimal for a year's subscription and is important for SW's business side of this whole deal, but what with the prizes for pyramids and free searches, etc., I don't think that's really a big deal. Someone found a website for US supplying of the Ramisis puzzle, but I can't recall it... Long story short, TSI is no more; unfortunate, yes, but the adventure continues! Onward! And welcome back!!

Wow, I just came back to discover this fee crap as well.
So much for being an original adopter and getting stuck on one of the original riddles. :x

The prizes were supposed to be available after solving the Isis 1 without needing to purchase more stuff, but looks like another sketchy technique to get more $$. :?

And as always, Puzz and the crew has these details CLEARLY on the main webpage so people can see this. [/Sarcasm]

This whole puzzle process has gotten more complicated and convoluted with each year and Isis that comes out. What's next? A "Finder's fee" after you solve a pyramid that you have to pay before you get your prize?!
