I'm the same - no reply to my email requesting a key
The Advert says: ISIS puzzle, ranking as one of "the Hardest Puzzles in the word" when solved contains a key which will open one of many golden Pyramids which contain thousands of pounds - not quite true...
Seems a bit unfair to me:
1- Buy an expensive puzzle for £109.
2- Solve the puzzle to get the key inside (if before 2007)
3- If your ISIS is manufactured after 2007, email for your key to be posted.
4- Pay a subscription fee in order to remain eligible to unlock a Pyramid
5- Solve a cryptic clue to find the Pyramid
6- Guess or purchase a PASSWORD before your allowed to open the Pyramid with your key (if you have one).
Slightly ambiguous I think. Trades description problem and definitely entisement-to-purchase. The seal says "Stop, once you open this puzzle, you are bound by the rules laid out by sonic-warp - NO REFUNDS". Well, sorry - what about consumer rights? This is BS.....
It's a con people, or at the very least a shameful money-making scheme; the ISIS 1 puzzle is basic and easy to solve (took 30 minutes to open mine) very disappointing. The reset procedure has rendered it unreliable after only a few times of opening and resetting it. The box misleadingly says "Titanium puzzle" (it's clearly made of soft, machined aluminium which is NOT a good metal to use - steel would be much harder wearing and a much cheaper ore than Bauxite). There was no key inside mine and no customer support to answer my email request. The prize isn't available after you open the puzzle (as implied by the wording) and there are hidden fee's - even despite the high sale price per unit for each ISIS. Definitely not the worlds hardest puzzle - nowhere near, in fact, I've made more complex boxes myself.
Sonic Warp have piggy-backed off the success of others and have manipulated it for commercial gain by destroying the spirit of geo-caching which used to be fun (and free!)
Sorry for the rant - just really miffed that I spent so much money on a puzzle which took no time at all to solve and has absolutely no re-play value and disappointed that I expected to get a reward for solving "the worlds hardest puzzle", even more annoyed that I had to pay another £20 just to find that out!
*Sigh, what a waste of money. Wont be buying the other puzzles. I'll just make my own.
