The Isis game

Hmm, I know this isn't strictly about this forum, but I stumbled across the Isis thread over on the unFiction forums a while back. I visited once but I didn't like the spoilers that were posted there, which really seemed to defeat the object of the game.

Recently, however, a friend pointed out to me that it's even worse. Now, I'm not sure if there's anything the guys here can do or not, but I thought I'd point it out anyway, as I find it a bit annoying that people are being given solutions...

Check out the last couple of pages in [EDIT: url - Please don't post these links in the general forum, but thanks for highlighting it]

Surely that isn't PUZZ from here, is it?

Hi Hannah

I agree that this is not good, it really highlights the unsporting nature in some people, and no doubt the same people required help to open their own... not the brightest people walking the planet

However.. does seem like there is a Puzz imposter.. safe to say that the Puzz we all know would never do this sort of thing..
"That will do!" Wont do!

Neil / Karen - Would it be a good idea to just remove this thread?

There is another thread on the same subject, and I was told to leave that the way it is.

But thanks for deleting the link cslrobert :)

i recently realized i had been on that forum before...i posted 2 times on the isis1 thread of that forum that must not be named...i had private messages with "number1barber"
it was a defining moment in my adventure...he told me at that time "you have everything you need in your hands, read the clues carefully..think it through"...and this person also helped instill the "adventure values" i hold to this day....he never just told anyone how to do it..he encouraged them...he made me understand i didnt want a spoiler...and its so true....when i opened the ramisis and decoded the code all by myself with absolutely no help...i was strutting around the bedroom like Mick Jagger onstage...
so in a way i have that forum that must not be named to thank for the one person who didnt let me let myself down....
thank you number1barber
