there we go again assuming that jesus was more than another homosapien, not sure if celebacy was inacted at this time..some more risky texts insinuate peter hated mary magdolan (spelling) because he himself loved jesus...the bible is prolife, reproduction is a basic "must" for our species and the church understands that all too well, todays babies are tomorrows offering givers..the main topic seems to be that jesus "may" have given mary more power than a woman of the day was allowed/accepted to have..the church only hides the Christ blood line because after the (edit) killed jesus ,mary would have been in charge of the jesus followers, all christians..and the church could not accept a female leader..still no female popes...
i find no problems believing jesus fathered children

you didn't step in anything just lost this thread for a bit. I think that it's funny how afraid people are of religous topics.

I hate religion. I have my own beliefs which I keep to myself out of respect for other peoples beliefs. I wish other people would do the same - I can't stand preachers!

Rant over

Well now I have opened the Isis, I can read the book again. I also have 2 of the unofficial companions for it. One is a big thick book and the second is a small one.

I haven't really read the small one by Simon Cox.

The big one though is a collection of reports and essays by many different people about different subjects bought up in A&D.
There are essays about popes, conclave, the vatican, Bernini and other artists, the freemasons and illuminati, technology etc. Its not bad as it brings together a lot of academic people's work. The editor did one for the da Vinci Code too. I have that one as well.

Simon Cox also wrote one for the Da Vinci code but i haven't read it, but I do have it.

Interesting topic, I'm not religous in any way or take any sides in life but have any of you read the "Koran". I found it quite interesting sounded the same as a book I was made to read as a child. My sons have been allowed to make their own minds up and to be honest they have great values in life and how to treat others :D Have read A&D fantastic book but we must remeber it is just a book(my opinion)

i have read bits of the koran.....

all i can say is "If you dont believe in something,You will fall for anything"

(jazz you can pm me for details...i do know its called "The Quaran"...and have read it a bit....i dont like the way this religion treats its congregation like dogs...lots of punishments for breaking the "commandments"....i like to research religions...the Jews dont believe the New Testament...because of the part where God says "these are my works in complete..nothing shall be added or taken away from it"..thats all there is to the jews...Jesus was just some guy like jimmy swaggert to the jews.....where as the quaran groups Jesus with the other "prophets" like moses and abraham......the prophet of jerusalem from nazareth....i see alot of moses worship in the jewish faith....i am currently exploring how "God's chosen people"(the jews)...can not believe in the "Son of God"...a.k.a. "The King of the Jews".....in my mind i am missing something since all the "prophets" they do worship spoke of the coming of Jesus..I am a "Baby Christian" so i am still studying...but i read all the texts that i can....i have read the mormon bible....jehovahs witness's literature....the new living word bible....i read the satanic bible my senior year in school  )
