Sharper Image staff needs training on Isis?

Postby SavinIris » Tue Oct 30, 2007 7:58 pm

I have seen a few people (including myself) have trouble with SI and their staff really being clueless about the Isis. I understand that if you have thousands of staff knowing the ins and outs of the Isis it could really mess things up. But maybe a little training on what to do if someone has a problem? That way we can at least leave the store with some kind of answer/resolution..

The staff at TSI where I bought my isis actually knew what it was about.. they told me a little bit about it when i first saw it..
at least the knew it was marketed as "The hardest puzzle" and also told me that if it was opened then you could win a big prize..

I think that it's the least the staff could know about a product that they sold..

The staff in San Francisco had absolutely no idea about the Isis. Of course that was about a week after it had come out. The staff in Las Vegas actually knew about the puzzle but not the free search. They had actually solve the display puzzle and didn't quite put it back together.

I go into The Sharper Image once in a while. The one that I usually go to, the employees are really friendly and I can tell that they've been reading up more about the Isis and know more about it now.. Theres a couple of guys at the store that seem pretty enthusiastic about it and its fun talking with them and telling them that i've solved the isis..

I went to a TSI store not too long ago and found out how they got some additional "training" on the Isis... they said that they couldn't figure out how to open it and used a saw and drill amoung other things to open one so they could see how they work! By now I imagin they have actually bought their own, opened it and went on to work on prizes :?
