I agree guys - things aren't running smoothly. What I'm aiming at is Ade, Puzz, and others are trying (as Ade noted) to get TSI to get these prizes authorized... While I may have been a weeee bit off on my #'s (I was referring to the forums here) of yanks that have opened it, I think this is coming as a shock to TSI which is partially why they've dropped the ball (no pun intended). In the end, InuShonen, those that earned the prize like yourself will get them - it's just a matter of being graceful under the circumstances. It's obvious that SW is putting as much pressure on TSI as possible, so let's hold tight and see what happens next - I am fairly confident you won't get jipped by a multibillion dollar company on their new product offering right before the holidays :) Bad, baaaad press if they do.

Good luck!

undelivered prizes

Postby ScottieISIS » Mon Dec 03, 2007 2:54 pm

I am another of the "winners" that has not received their prize yet. - it has been 2 months since I solved riddle #8 and won the "Human Touch Massage Chair"

After numerous attempts to work this out with Sharper Image - who refers me to Sonic Warp - and email after email from Erica assuring me that they are "making progress" and that my prize should be delivered soon. I have lost patience with the two organizations pointing fingers at each other. Not to mention that fact that I never even received the "key" for which I paid Sonic Warp - directly.

I would appreciate if any other frustrated prize winners would contact me directly at Scott_Saidel at Comcast.net so that we can discuss these prize claim issues as well as some other serious questions that I feel exist with regard to the manner in which the ISIS puzzle was marketed - and the legal claims that we may have as a group.

PUZZ just said that they were being shipped out. Sorry it took two months for your $2,000 Message Chair that you paid $200 (ISIS) for to get delivered.

Legal action !! Are you kidding me, its sue happy people like you that make everything in the world 5 time more expensive than it needs to be.

Nothing has been Shipped Out to me - no one has even contacted me to confirm my shipping address or make arrangements for delivery.

I fulfilled my end of the bargain - bought their $200 puzzle - solved it - and earned the prize that they promised and that they have widely advertised I have won. Since that time, despite a concerted effort on my part (dozens of emails, phone calls, and letters) they have provided nothing but their empty assurances, time after time, that my prize will be delivered "soon." They have not even managed to send me the key - that was supposed to be inside - that I had to pay an additional $10 shipping and handling for. I might point out that these issues are not unique to me - apparently NONE of the US winners have received their prizes. Even though several people had solved the puzzle several weeks before I did.

Oh, yeah - by the way, now they are offering me $800 in compensation in lieu of the Massage Chair. Glad to see that you, too, interpreted their advertising and prize listings to infer that I had won the $2000 massage chair that they had widely advertised.

Maybe, if you: solved the puzzle - received their indication that you had won a $2000 massage chair - contacted Sonic Warp only to be referred to Sharper Image then contacted Sharper Image, only to be referred back to Sonic Warp - went back and forth with each them for weeks and weeks and weeks - and had them, then, suggest that you take 1/3 of the value of the prize that you had reasonably thought you had won - you might understand my frustration and not be so critical.

It was easier to solve the "world's most difficult puzzle" than to get prize - or maybe this is part of the test?

Sonicwarp and prizes

Postby PUZZ » Mon Dec 03, 2007 7:54 pm

Folks,

just want to clear a few things up.

1. SW supply games/puzzles to retailers.
2. SW are not responsible for what is publicised on other retailers websites
3. Delivery of prizes offered through 3rd parties is the reponsibility of that 3rd party, albeit SW may pay for those prizes.
4. SW strive to ensure that 3rd parties honour and deliver prizes, but for obvious reasons SW can only ask, we are not in a position to demand.

Folks,

just to clear up some more confusion, there were 2 x massage chairs on offer as mystery prizes on the TSI award zone, one was for $2000 and the other $800

Both have been won, the $2000 massage chair was won on the 12th October, and the $800.00 chair was won by Scottie on the 3rd October, so the $2000 chair was available at the time Scottie claimed the $800.00 chair.
