Hey all,

Just joining everyone from the Bay Area of California! Just got one of these this past w/e and cracked the cipher in 2 hours, but am having... challenges... with the sphere.

I've figured out how most of the clues relate, but now the top ring of my sphere seems to be coming off (there's a gap!) and I'm wondering if this is normal? Has anyone else experienced this? I mean clue 11 is not something i went overboard with, so i hiiighly doubt it's that.

Hey,

How big is the gap? Can you just push it back down?
One of my isis has a gap about twice as big as it should be where the mechanism contacts with the ring, it doesn't look like it's gonna come off any more so I don't worry about it
If yours does look like it's gonna come off then I'd probably suggest PMing PUZZ

Thanks - it's about the width of the edge of a penny (not sure what the pom equivalent is) but 1-2 mm's. I've pushed it back down, but it does come back up after a while... it's frustrating cuz i'm already pullin my hair out over how to figure this gdang thing out, but to have this is just adding to my mounting despair lol

This sometimes occurs, it should not affect the puzzle in anyway, DO NOT try and lever the ring off though, this would not be wise !

As you all know every Isis Puzzle is handmade in the UK and therefore there are small differences between each puzzle, but the small differences do not affect the solution.

LoL - "this would not be wise" is enough to convince me to NOT lean in the direction i was tempted to go if all else fails.
