Pyramid 32 Solved

Let me start off by saying knowning the password since the 28th of sept. and finally getting the key on friday and just now taking the trip on wednesday I was really sweating bullets on if someone else was going to get to that pyramid before me, within that time frame but I managed to keep it quiet on the forums, didn't want to stir up competition telling them that "hey I know the password, but have no key" lol so here goes the story.

Riddle was:

On this 8th lies a skyscraper, but this one is only 12,
The 1st American built and an honorary member,
Name that which the hand offers to a king.

On this 8th lies a skyscraper, but this one is only 12
Now from reading previous posts ppl claimed it was in New York, so I based on that assumption and so I started looking up skyscrapers on 8th that were 12 storys but skyscrapers are deemed a skyscraper by being over 12 storys so it made it difficult to search and somewhere between keywords of skyscraper, 8th and 12 I finally had a result talking about this picture here http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v105/Z3r0_San1ty/IMG00301.jpg, This burger is known as the "SkyScraper Burger" which is 12 ounces of meat. Which is this burger is created at a place called the "Cooper's Tavern". So of course then I decided to find out who this Cooper Guy first name is Which is Peter Cooper.

The 1st American built and an honorary member
Peter Cooper was the first american that manufactured the first steam powered railroad locomotive made in America, which was called Tom Thumb. He was also and Honorary member of the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art to the City of New York As well as inducted into the National Inventers Hall Of Fame. Now going on that information, since he built the locomotive called "Tom Thumb" I decided to look up Tom Thumb.

Name that which the hand offers to a king.
Tom Thumb brought up a tale between him and King Arthur, story went that King Arthur and his wife wanted a son, or possibly wife only and Merlin brought Tom Thumb into the world which he was only as big as a thumb hence the name most likely, and was given to King Arthur and his wife.

So by that point I had a good lock on the riddle just needed to figure out the password, This is where I stepped way out of the box when it came to finding this password out. Tom thumb never gave anything to King Arthur so I kept looking around to see who gave what to the King which I even thought the password could of been Merlin, maybe his Wife, or someone else. King Arthur which most know is commonly told amongst storys of "Excalibur" with the "Sword in the stone" storys, So thinking "Excalibur" was too easy for a password I started to dig around, and my mistake was I only put Excalibur to the Sword in the stone tale, and did not read the fine print that there were 2 swords given to king Arthur. One was given to him by the Lady in the lake, Which the other sword was presented to him in sword of the stone tales. It wasn't till a lil after on searching harder into Excalibur about what this first sword was called until I seen pictures of "the lady in the lake" reaching out of the water with "Excalibur" in hand giving it to King Arthur has he was on a boat with Merlin. So by this time I knew Excalibur was the password or tied into it somehow, that is when looking up Excalibur on Wiki, it told me "In Welsh legend, Arthur's sword is known as Caledfwlch." Looking at that I thought that could be it. So when I got my time to check the password checker online and put that password in it said "Congratulation. Your password attempt was correct. To collect your reward you must visit the pyramid and provide the password again."

Without saying anything else obvisiously I knew I had the password correct, so I planned my trip for Wednesday with my girlfriend to New York. This is where the fun took place when we arrived to the "Cooper's Tavern" the pyramid was sitting right up above some glasses behind the bar, seen below.

I told the waiter I would like to speak to someone about the golden pyramid sitting above the bar, which is when I met Teddy the owner of it, so he picked up the phone to dial to SW about my password.......2 Hours later and I think he left about 3 messages on the answering machine (guess the 24/7 service wasn't availble last night lol), after we've eaten in the place we started to get worried on what to do that Puzz hasn't called back yet to the tavern, The bar owner eventually told me that they didnt want me to wait around forever and he thought it should be fine to open it since I knew the password and had the key, I was being sketchy at first cuz I didnt want to void anything on the coin for not having Puzz concent, so I started talking with Anash via text and asked him If I should take the coin, and leave the password and my key number so when Puzz gets back to the owner he can deliver the message to him, he said it seemed like the right thing to do, so thats what I did. Which below has the video of the pyramid being brought over by the owner of the bar to me and opened and closed, and yes I had some trouble opening the lock and locking in on figuring out which way the key went into the pyramid which you can see on video lol. So yes Cornette that is the 2nd gold coin, 1 from the statue of liberty, and 2. from the coopers tavern.

Today I did get a message from anash saying Puzz talked to him finally yesterday and did say my password was correct and got back to the bar owner about all the info I gave so it is Legit :)

Here is the video of the pyramid opened and closed taking the gold coin.(50 seconds long)

One VP password was a Latin based Shakespearian word in the singular form.

I'm not exactlyy sure but I originally steered away from Caledflwsh just because it didnt say it was english but welsh, but something told me to try it anyway since it was the origin of the excalibur lol
