Just opened my ISIS... LOTS MORE QUESTIONS. :)

Well. It took a month, but I got it open. I feel like I got lucky... because until I saw the inside... I was working off instincts. But now that I see how it operates, its been fairly easy to re-open and close it. I feel smart. :)

Now I have new questions.

My ISIS had a prize code shown on the inside. I emailed top100@sonicwarp.com. But I havent heard anything back yet. Is there something else I need to do?

I also emailed key@sonicwarp.com to see about getting a key. Any idea how long it will take to hear back on this? Do I have to pay for shipping?

I would like to start working on a pyramid now... but I am really not sure how that all works. I am in AZ and there is no pyramid here.... does that matter? Does proximity to the virtual pyramids matter? Are there things in those states that I need to know to solve them?

Would it be better to wait for a pyramid to open up in a state that I am closer to (or familiar with)? Am I correct in thinking I can only attempt one pyramid/riddle per ISIS?

Whew. That was a lot of questions.

I am excited tho. I love the ISIS. I ordered my RAMISIS a few weeks ago, but according to Andrew at sonicwarp, it just shipped (they apparently just finished the new versions of the RAMISIS, or something). So. I am looking forward to getting my mitts on it. How does it measure up in difficulty to the ISIS? For the last 2 weeks my arms have been hurting at bed time from holding the ISIS ball to my ear. :)

Thanks again for the help.

Gus

Was it a special prize edition ISIS? All of them have a registration code. So if it was then you sent it to the correct place and now it's a waiting game. Sometimes I get a quick response and unfortunately sometimes I've had to send multiple emails.

I've received 2 keys the first took a couple of months and I had to pay for it. The second took about 1 month and I didn't have to pay :? Both times I sent multiple emails.

If you have paid the membership fee you can jump right into a pyramid. Virtual ones are up for grabs just solve it and get the prize. The Physical ones you have to actually travel to the location to solve them. Proximity and such may help with finding the answer but it's nothing you can't find with lots of research. I've been working on one for months  The ISIS you can only SOLVE 1 pyramid per puzzle, you can work on as many as you want. Just go in and pick a new one whenever you want. Ramisis is different, once you pick a pyramid you're stuck with it.

It's just different. Now when you hold the Ramisis to your ear watch out for the pointy ends

Good Luck!!

How long did you wait between emails for the key/prize? :)

Is there anyway to tell which pyramids have already awarded all their gold coins?

Hi Galen and welcome,
The keys can take a while to appear, they seem to be sent out in batches.
I doubt that you shall need it any time soon because the pyramid riddles tend to take a while to solve.
As for knowing which pyramids have gold coins, there are some stories of people that have solved some of the pyramids on this forum.
Some of these pyramids are still live and some have been removed because all the silver coins have been claimed.
Sometimes pyramids are refilled, if so the riddle will have changed.
By reading the forum carefully you can certainly narrow down some of the pyramids that have been solved but there is no list of ones that still contain gold.
I have tried backtracking to work out for definite which have and which haven’t been solved, it is not possible.
I wish you the best of luck with your quest.

Alright... now I am confused again. When I select a pyramid is says: One online password guess is allowed per pyramid every 3.5 days. But when I go to enter the password, it tells me: Warning ! If your password guess is incorrect, you will be locked out for 30 days.

Am I missing something? Help!

Thanks.

Oh,

It is a while since I have used the online password checker, it was not like that the last time I did use it.
I understand your confusion, how can you guess 3.5 days later if you are locked out for 30 days.
Try emailing Martin (martin@sonicwarp.com) I think he deals with the website side of things,
Let him know that it doesn't make sense and get him to explain the correct procedure.
It would be good to hear his response, let us know how you get on.

The online password checker on each pyramid-riddle page allows one (payed) guess per 3.5 days (per pyramid).
The "collect your reward" page for VIRTUAL pyramids allows only one (free) guess every 30 days.
This to prevent people from using the "collect your reward" page (for virtual pyramids) twice a week for free password attempts.
For "real" pyramids the 30 day warning is not mentioned and does not apply.

Cool. Thanks for the replies, guys.

Hoping my Ramisis will arrive this week. And hoping they will respond to my prize code email. ...and my key email. :)

I did not know that
Maybe that's because I have never submitted a password to a virtual pyramid :o
Thanks for setting that straight :D
