Questions from yet another annoying newb...

So. I have tracked down the elusive 11th clue (which I will not repeat here, because, it seems that the powers-that-be want it to remain elusive) and believe I know what it means. However, I just want to ask a question.
How much abuse can the Isis take? I certainly don't want to dent or damage it. Am I thinking along the right lines (with regards to this clue)?
If the meaning I am inferring is correct, it seems an odd maneuver for a puzzle like this.... especially given that such an important clue is not even included in the original guide book.
Just feeling a bit ...unsure.
Also, I am curious. Once I decipher the clues in the instruction manual, is there anything more to these clues? Is there any other layer of meaning to them?
ALSO... Just wondering: Are the pyramid puzzles all CIPHERS? Or are they different kinds of riddles? Just wondering what to expect... .once I get there.
ALSO.... Once I solve the ISIS, is it possible to close it (reassemble it) to how it was before solving it? Or are there internal components that are broken/unsealed/separated by opening it? I would like to be able to reassemble it once solved, for the maddening of future generations.
Thanks. Feel free to PM me, if you think these things should not be discussed publically.
