Almost there.. suggestions?

Hey everyone! I spent about 7 hours working on my Isis that I received from Christmas. I'm stuck and in need to help.
I got the placentas 1 cm apart, then 180*, then all the way back to the starting point (360*), giving it one full twist around (I have a gap in between, almost opened). Now it won't budge in either direction, appearing to be 'locked' where it is, plunger pressed or not.. I lost control of holding the plunger down when my thumb tired out and it got locked.
I'm stuck here, I've been trying the same method I've been using to try to get it open.. with no avail. the button won't depress slightly anymore, it goes down fully now. Is there a tip/hint.. a nudge towards the right direction for me?
Feel free to PM me tips/suggestions. thanks
EDIT: I realized I may have posted this in the wrong section. feel free to move if needed
