USA September (1 of 5) found!

Postby colin » Tue Nov 06, 2007 10:50 am

Thanks to the Isis adventure I finally set foot on Alcatraz, a place I may not have ended up visiting despite living in the Bay Area. Having blogged about the experience, I will link for now, but if requested, I'll recap in a response.

Alcatraz Isis

Postby PUZZ » Tue Nov 06, 2007 8:04 pm

Fantastic story - well done !

I was with you all the way on that story, finding it was tricky as you know but can you imagine how difficult it was hiding it, finding a place, then having a lookout, in case somone caught us I remember the heart beating faster than normal in case we caught.

But theres still other's out there !!!

When did you go? I was going to go on Monday but I got there too late to buy a ticket for that day.

anash27 - we were wearing our audio tour kits in the hopes of uncovering further clues tying in with the riddle, and although we did end up leaving without the full Alcatraz experience, it would have paled in comparison to the thrill of the hunt and discovery.

PUZZ - I understand, now, why it must have been heart-racing to hide the coin there, as it could probably have been seen as tampering with a national park. I come to appreciate the wisdom of my friend who quietly slipped the coin in his pocket and kept himself from screaming out, as it may have induced suspicion that we were taking something that belonged to the island.

Note to all: I really suggest you bring along a friend or two should you find yourself the opportunity to embark on a search. Besides the helpful cover friends can provide for suspicious-looking activities, I would truly have regretted not having had someone else to share the excitement with.

Free Isis process

Postby PUZZ » Wed Nov 07, 2007 9:56 am

Folks,

Regarding free isis searches - if you happen to stumble across a Sonicwarp coin and wish to redeem it for an Isis, please direct all requests directly to Sonicwarp Limited via telephone or email at info@sonicwarp.com please see www.sonicwarp.com for details.

All coins found will be validated against the unique 10 digit number and Sonicwarp will dispatch all isis directly from SW HO to the claimants.

GRATS! My wife and I were out there last saturday and spent literally almost 4 hours adding up different equations of Snooker, deducing hot/cold, treasure "lies" there, etc... I was SURE it was 123, 125 or 127, and even got a guard to open those cells so I could search em, but NO DICE! It was very disappointing, but I'm glad someone got it and had a great adventure in the process :)

Now begins the true fun - figuring out the Isis! Good work... and yes, my wife (who adventured with me) is kickin my @$$ for not being more thorough in 147 :( lol

must find coin...must...find...coin...

That's really an awesome story.

I remember how awesome I felt when I opened my Isis, and I bet finding one with an experience like that has to be 10 times better.

I hope I get the chance to find Something out of these 5 adventures (Coins, Free Isis', Anything!!)

just as an fyi, i sent in the details of my find to sonicwarp on the 6th, and although I missed the package, the isis seems to have made it to my doorstep on the 15th. Will be stopping by the post office in the morning to pick-up, but i'm glad to report the puzzle arrived sooner than i imagined.
