I got mine the 28th for my 25th and had it solved rather quickly (just couldn't register it right away). Still debating if I should continue the adventure.

Welcome to the forum Verbaine :D Congratulations on solving the ISIS so quickly! I hope you continue with the adventure, if you found the ISIS too easy, in my opinion, the Ramisis is much harder - especially if you try to go for the Extra challange and dismantle the Ramisis completely :)

There are two steps to the Ramisis puzzle, the first step is to remove the key from the Ramisis, this will allow you to play the online game and enter the Ramisis 5% club. The second step is to completely dismantle the Ramisis into separate pieces, this will allow you into the exclusive Ramisis Extra challenge section of the forum, found within the Ramisis 5% club. Best of luck if you decide to buy a Ramisis :)

I got my Isis on August 24th and just opened it a few minutes ago! It's sitting on my desk next to my (unsolved) Ramisis. I'm going to leave it open for at least a few days, so I can prove to my co-workers that I actually solved it. It's a lovely puzzle!

I have opened my ISIS I puzzle! Now, I'm a bit lost on a few things. There appears to have been a shift in the forum, to a new site, but when I try to follow the posted link, it says that the page doesn't exist. Any insight into that? Also, I have a few questions about the pyramid selections, after solving my ISIS I. Anyone feel like helping a slightly confused new member?

Hi Jpulido, Congratulations on opening your ISIS and welcome to the forum :)

The Sonicwarp forum that you are refering to has been closed for the time being, it was used so that we could discuss other non-ISIS SW puzzles, but this forum has always been more popular.

Please post your questions about the pyramids and we'll try to answer them for you :)

Well, my questions are regarding the two selections for Pyramids, after one has solved their ISIS I Puzzle. I can either Locate or Select a Pyramid. What is the difference? Am I restricted to one or the other? And, I'm not looking for hints or solutions, but what is the process, once I've made a decision? I'm also a bit lost on the differences between a real and virtual Pyramid. If I select a real Pyramid, do I actually have to travel to the physical location, in order to win anything, if I have decrypted the riddle? I really am quite new at all this, but puzzles are a favorite past-time of mine, even since I was a small child. Granted, I'm still fairly young, now, but I've put a decent few years behind me, and puzzles still seem to be one of my favorite forms of entertainment. So, I imagine that outlines my questions, and a bit of background. Any information regarding the Pyramids is *greatly* appreciated, as I don't want to choose one over the other, without being fully informed, first. Better to keep one's options open, till all the available information has been absorbed and processed, ne? Well, here's to hoping that I hear back from someone, and get a better track on which direction I want to choose! I'm *really* looking forward making it through this step, and to getting my RAMISIS, and continuing in this global challenge!

Hi jpulido and welcome!

jpulido wrote:I can either Locate or Select a Pyramid. What is the difference? Am I restricted to one or the other?

Locate a pyramid will show you the map, with the pyramids in (approximately) their locations. If you click on a pyramid you will then see which number it is. Select a pyramid then gives you a list in numerical order, and allows you to select one of your choice, and to then see the riddle for that pyramid.

Real pyramids are hidden at the locations on the map, and the clue for them includes both the location and the password. You can use the online password checker to check the password, but even if you get it right you will still need to travel to the actual location to claim a prize.

Virtual pyramids do not exist in reality, and the riddle will just lead you to the password, which will then allow you to claim the prize. Virtual pyramids have a small 'V' on the symbol on the map.

You can change your selection of pyramid at any time (real or virtual), so there's no problem in having a look at a few different ones.

I hope that helps!
