I thought that everyone had established that it was Chicago already.

From JTobcat's earlier description I can guarantee that they have been within feet of the Isis (coin).

Happy hunting!!

HAHA! @%$*! Thankfully I'm heading up there today again, and at least that shoots down my new theories and tells me to focus on my old ones. You couldn't give a better hint Ade and say if it was inside or outside?

i spent 4 hours in the museum today and all i did was touch about a million pieces of chewed bubble gum..i physicaly searched every inch of the N:tas reachable by hand...nothing to see through the periscopes...at the end of the hall from the exhibit is a large topagraphical photo of mars in rainbow colors right next to a set of stairs(zigzag)...got 3 college students interested in the adventure from watching me search the stairs...after looking into my initial ideas i went to the all out search....i located and searched all rainbow related areas...4 hours...i searched all the stairwells(zigzag signs with arrows)..i found a area where i thought it could be and there was a piece of tape there half attached approximately the size of a coin i have seen on here...unless jtobcat beat me to it,it is no longer there....every area i found that it could be hidden in was covered with chewed gum(under lips and shelves ,but always under..benches,back of everything)..pigs!...gum everywhere!!!
anyway,i searched the "toymaker" area..just everything..everything that could even be remotely related to a "zigzag"...i went there sure i could find it by the clues as i am sure some of you may think the same thing ,but i am GREATLY dissappointed....i am telling you guys ,i did not even look at anything unrelated to the task at hand ..4 solid hours of concentration on this riddle and the map and the exhibits...i started at the N:TAS and worked out after the total search of the exhibit..i begrudgingly talked to a security guard and a greeter after arousing suspicion and guess what?.....they never heard of SW,and had no idea what the isis adventure was...being a magician i am fairly certain they weren't lying because i hemhawed around the answer when questioned...as stated ,either jtobcat beat me to it or some little kid, while depositing there chewed gum, inadvertently found the coin and kept it as a momento,no idea of it real nature. maybe a spanish person..who knows...all i do know is where it isnt, and that is quite alot of area ,i ran my hand over areas anyone under 6' couldnt even reach...i am so confident in my search that i wont be going back without another hint, and i feel like i have had too many already.
so,my report to sonic warp is ..the coin is missing
(half of the "eye spy" exhibit is tore down)
i would except being disqualified "for this search" to go check for sw to see if its still there but i think it is gone...
i searched that mother like a detective looking for his lost soul

i might have to go back ,it looked like a cool museum...i did try the rainbow lights that play like a piano lol..for like 10 sec....you may read the post and question my searching but it was thorough(spelling)..in desperation the last hour was spent just searching anything not openly visible to the naked eye...so i searched areas not riddle specific as well..and i had to spell isis for the guard..lol...

I wish I had found it, but I didn't. I was there today, but I didn't go in the museum just b/c I feel like I've searched every nook and cranny of NTAS already which meant there wasn't a chance of me finding any new hiding places. I focused my search outside of the museum today and revisited all the places I had mentioned previously. Unfortunately, even after expanding my search to everything conceivable within 25ft of my original search I still had nothing. I wish SW had a way to verify if this coin is still in its original hiding place. On a side note though, I found this hole in a tree near a place I had originally been searching that turned out to have a raccoon in it. I had my hand partway into the hole when I looked in and saw it staring back at me. I came to the conclusion later that the raccoon was probably the ISIS keeper and I had to challenge him to a duel to win the coin as a prize

Sorry to hear you didnt find it. It sounds like it was a very thorough search and you always wonder if somebody else has found it when you come up blank. Like you said, it may mean having to exclude somebody from the search to verify if the coin is still there.

Cheers

Edit: Thanks for changing your avtar.

SW should embed GPS tracking chips inside all the coins so they never have to travel to verify if the coin is still there, they'd just have to log into their computer. This could be cheaper than gas to travel to the location and really they'd only need like 10 of the coins and just have people mail in the coin when they find it and mail them back a duplicate plain coin with the free ISIS. This would be a pretty freaking cool idea

Maybe it's a brit thing - we've been brain washed by political correctness. It was a little bit on the edge

Back and forth.

Could there be a lift (elevator) at the back of you that takes you to the fourth floor?

Doubt this has anything to do with it, but Zig and Zag were a couple of puppets that presented a tv programme called The Big Breakfast in the UK. I think they moved on to present MTV Europe.
